'Stopover East' is a journey through Chinese culture and history in the broadest sense. Topics cover modern and ancient China and Taiwan from a Dutch perspective.

 

The majority of the articles were previously published in the Dutch three-monthly magazine "China Nu". Mostly written between 2010 and 2023, although in different form. The articles came into being because of my decades long curiosity towards China and Taiwan.
